Workshops and Seminars
Carbon Characterization Workshop at New Diamand and Nanocarbon 2013 Tuesday, May 21, 2013 4 - 6 pm Novotel Hotel; Paprika Room , level 5 Dinner is provided. Space is limited. Register today!
This workshop will demonstrate how Raman spectroscopy can be used to gain insight into graphene-based materials. The ability of this technique to provide information on a range of material properties such as structural uniformity, film quality, degree of functionalization, and electrical properties will be presented. Several examples of the use of Raman microscopy applied to advanced carbon based materials will be presented and discussed. Live instrument demonstrations will allow participants to thoroughly understand how a measurement is performed as well as understanding how to approach interpreting the results of a particular measurement.
Carbon Rio Graphene Workshop Tuesday, July 16 5-7 pm Windsor Atlantica Hotel; Petropolis Rooms A+B Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
We will have a hands-on workshop on graphene analysis with Raman spectroscopy at Carbon Rio 2013.
Details to follow closer to the date.
